The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Corporation, Securities & Commercial Licensing Bureau (CSCL) has extended the filing deadline for 2014 annual reports for profit corporations and professional service corporations until June 30, 2014. The extension comes after there was a delay in mailing of annual reports, which have been sent to resident agents of record with the CSCL Corporations Division. Typically, profit corporations are required to file the annual report by May 15 of each year; however, a 45-day extension has been granted. Failure to meet the new deadline will result in penalties and, eventually, administrative dissolution. Annual reports can be filed online here, and more information about the extension can be accessed here.
